A hand woven blanket made on my rigid heddle loom. Soft and light but warm and cosy. Ideal for the coming Autumn / Winter. Makes an ideal gift for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas. Inspired by my coastal and countryside environment this blanket is named after a forest near my home, so named because in days gone by Iron Pyrite (Fools Gold) - historical local term Firestone - was found within the soil and ground of the woodland. In Spring, Bluebells, Primroses and Wood Anemones can be found in the woodland. the colours in this blanket remind me of the spring flowers and the 'Firestone'. Measures 146cmlong x 73cm wide. Blanket contains 10% wool but can be machine washed at 30 degrees or hand washed. Dry Flat. Do Not Tumble Dry.
