I originally made these blankets for myself and my family, as well as gifts for loved ones. They brought such a lovely sense of warmth and cosiness to our home, and quickly became everyone’s favourite thing to snuggle up under. That’s what inspired me to start making them for others to enjoy too.

Chunky Hand-Knitted Chenille Blanket
A beautifully soft, chunky hand-knitted blanket, made using luxurious chenille yarn and knitted by hand in a simple plaited design.
Perfect for adding warmth and texture to a sofa, bed or favourite chair, it has a lovely cosy weight without being overly heavy.
Each blanket is carefully handmade, making every piece unique. The chunky plait design gives it a relaxed, tactile look that works beautifully in both modern and cosy homes.

Care Instructions
Chenille yarn is delicate and these blankets are best treated gently to keep them looking their best.
I recommend airing your blanket outside rather than washing it regularly. If it does need cleaning, spot clean gently with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry naturally.
If washing is absolutely necessary, please check the care instructions supplied with the yarn and use the gentlest possible method. Do not tumble dry, wring or iron.
Store folded rather than hung to help maintain the shape of the chunky knit.
As with all handmade knitted items, gentle handling will help your blanket stay soft and beautiful for longer.

Your blanket is made by hand, not mass produced. There may be small variations in the stitches, shape or texture, which are part of what makes a handmade piece unique.
