In 2006 I was on a family trip to Ireland and my dad and me somehow ended up on what turned out to be a semi-commercial mackerel fishing trip on a small open boat off Teelin in County Donegal. Anyway, I took some photos of our catch, and we did have fresh mackerel for tea, and this work is based some of the fish we caught that day.

I've been making ACEOs for a while now and normally have them listed on another place that shall remain nameless. I want to curate my more traditional pieces in one place, and that's here.
This is a diptych of a fish based on a mackerel, over two 3.5"x2.5" canvas boards. Separately they are individual pieces of the head and tail of the fish, but together they complete the piece.
This listing is for both pieces.
