Full description
This is the perfect gift for the prolific reader in your life. A beautiful soft padded fabric pouch to keep your book in when you're on the move. It keeps your book from getting dog-eared and tatty in your bag and looks lovely too. It is made from duck egg blue linen and mauve cotton. It has a profusion of flowers embroidered in free motion embroidery. Each violet, primrose and daisy is drawn on freehand then stitched using multiple colours of thread. Even the back has not been forgotten and features violets in the bottom corner. The lining is a sage cotton, and the sleeve fastens with an elastic and handmade button, which is made from a snippet of vintage embroidery.
The sleeve measures approximately 20cm wide and 25cm high, and fits most size of book.
