Full description
This necklace was made from Sterling silver sheet which was pre-cut into strips.
Texture was added to each section and curves were formed.
The sides and ends of each piece were carefully sanded and the ends were rounded to produce a smooth finish.
I arranged the strips into a random contemporary pattern and carefully soldered each piece where they overlapped.
Finally two half jump rings were soldered onto the top of the pendant to serve as bails for the chain.
The chain is 16.5 inches long and is a fine foxtail chain stamped 925 for Sterling silver.
The pendant is also stamped 925 but does not require to be fully Hallmarked under British law because it weighs less than 7.78 grams.
The pendant and the chain weigh just over 7 grams together.
The necklace will be sent in the box pictured and will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48.
