Full description

'Hibiscus: I didn't know these could grow here', edition of 50.

Print specifics:

Handmade linocut print in 2 editions: a rich black and folksy ochre onto 150gsm fine art printmaking paper.

Paper size is A4, image size is 18cm x 12cm.

'Hibiscus' is inspired by the shock of seeing a vivid hibiscus growing in a local garden. Typically seen in tropical regions only, I was surprised to see my favourite flower thriving in the British climate. This piece is dedicated to this joyous flower and will hopefully inspire you to take a moment contemplate nature. And yes, I am also a lover of long and overly-descriptive artwork titles!

Selected and shown at the Ironbridge Printmaking Competition Exhibition, 2026.

Please remember that this is a handmade, hand printed item (not a digitally reproduced print!) so each will be unique and have its own beautiful quirks - this is all part of what makes a handmade product great!
