Dyed black 4x8mm coconut shell rondelles, set with a trio of 8mmTiger Eye round beads and 8x1.5mm brass discs.
I have threaded the elastic twice through these beads for a stronger but still stretchy bracelet.
The black shell and shiny brass rings provide a striking setting for the three beautiful golden brown Tiger Eye beads
Tiger Eye (also called Tiger's Eye, Tigers Eye or Tiger Iron) is a popular member of the Quartz family that is usually amber to golden-brown.
Tiger Eye is my first choice when designing jewellery for men, possibly because one of the few pieces of jewellery I remember my father wearing was a Tiger Eye signet ring.
Roman soldiers wore the stone in battle in the belief it would give them the courage, strength and cunning of a tiger, and it is still regarded as a stone that promotes courage, confidence, strength and vitality.
It is known as the 'Stone Of Wisdom & Strength'
This unisex piece would make a lovely handmade gift for Father's Day, a birthday or anniversary, or as a special 'thank you'.
Handcrafted by me, GlintBeads, in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK.
Designed for a larger wrist, this stretch bracelet measures approximately 8 inches (20cm).
