Welcome to my online Folksy shop and thank you for popping by.
I'm a bear and textile artist, designer and creator of unique hand embroidered heirloom keepsake bears and collectables.
I'm happy to send my items direct to a recipient on your behalf and I can personalise or rename bears, just drop me a line.
Due to new regulations sadly I can no longer post to Europe or NI.
I have taken US postage off my items, this may be a temporary measure until I have time to look into the new commodity codes, regulations and postage so please contact me if you are wishing to purchase an item and I will look into it.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Meet Calypso, hand sewn and embroidered Signature style dressed elephant by Bearlescent.
Calypso is around 7" tall, a 100% 2mm wool felt elephant in light grey marl.
Completely hand sewn in my Signature style with the stitching to the right side of the fabric. Sewn 3 times for stability using mattress stitch and 2 rows of straight stitch for strength.
Calypso has huge elephant ears hand embroidered freesyle with delicate flowers in various shades of plum.
Calypso has hand embroidered facial details in black.
He is fully jointed with cotter pin fitments making him fully poseable.
He wears his name on a wooden tag and Bearlescent is to the back of one ear on a polymer clay button.
Calypso wears hand dyed heavy silk bib and brace dungarees in lovely deep plum and pinky red shades, they are very delicate, the fabric was difficult to work with as it shredded with each stitch but I'm pleases I persevered as they suited him perfectly, they have been finished with little buttons to the straps.
He also wears a little hand dyed wool flat cap to his head in similar deep burgundy and plum shades.
He has been added to my bear register and will arrive with birth certificate.
Calypso has a sweet personality, a gentle little animal doll who would make a unique addition to a bear or doll collection, perfect as a special keepsake gift.
He is best suited to standing, propped or leant against something, he can sit but his trousers make it a little awkward, Calypso prefer to stand and watch the world go by.
He has been designed as an adult collectable doll only and due to his cotter pins and delicate nature he is not suitable for children under 14.
Calypso will be carefully wrapped and posted by Royal Mail tracked 48 parcel post.
