About this item
'Blossom & Blue Tits' is a signed, original painting of three cheeky Blue Tits in spring blossom, one of them taking off in flight. 'Blossom & Blue Tits' is painted in acrylic paint on high quality, reclaimed Welsh slate roof tile which is most likely to be 100 years old or more. The slate is carefully chosen and the painting designed with the natural contours of the slate in mind. Before painting, the slate is sanded to remove any sharp edges while retaining the natural look, and hanging holes are drilled. After the painting is finished, it is signed by the artist and varnished front and back with several coats of matt spray varnish with UV protection and a rope and wire has been added for hanging on the wall. Size: L30cm x W8cm.
