This Peacefull Painting shows part of the Pentland Hill's in Midlothian, Scotland during Winter.
You can feel the cold from looking at it however it's also feels lovely and peacefull full of stillness and calm.
I painted this from one of my sister's photographs she took while out on one of her many walks.
My family and friends take photos with me in mind for painting which is great, and I have used a lot over the years for inspiration.
Painted using daler rowney acrylic paints on a box edge stretched canvass measuring 12inches high, 14inches wide and 0.5inch deep.
The work is discretely initialled DS on the front bottom right corner, and signed with the year 2025 on the back.
A beautiful piece of Art for your home, evoking a feeling calm and peace.
Perfect as a gift for lover's of landscapes and the outdoors or for the fans of Scottish Wilderness.
I use Royal Mail 2nd tracked postage for this item which is included in the price, I will email when I post it out.
Your Painting will be safely packaged in a pizza style box wrapped in bubble wrap with tissue and shredded paper, it will have an outer layer of packing plastic and fragile stickers applied.
To care for your painting please keep out of direct and prolonged sunlight as this may bleach colours over time. To dust use a dry cloth.
I don't varnish or add hanging hooks to my canvasses because I find varnish yellows over time and that people prefer to choose their own hanging methods.
However either can be done on request please message me about this, thanks.
