Full description
A pretty painting that was inspired by part of the Pentland Hill's in Midlothian, Scotland.
This painting is from a photograph that my sister took while out on one of her many walks, this was in summer with all the heather in bloom.
Painted using daler rowney acrylics on a box stretched canvass measuring 12inches high, 10inches wide and 0.5inch deep. It is signed on the front and back of the piece with the date 2025.
This work shows a lovely sunny summers day up in the Pentland Hill's, all the heather is in bloom theres a blue sky with moody clouds, all the colours are jewel like and give a lovely feel to the piece.
Give any space a pop of colour and interest with this one of a kind original painting.
Would make a thoughtful gift for anyone with love of The Pentland Hills, Midlothian.
There are no prints of this work only this original.
I am very lucky and for such a long time now my family and friends take photographs for me with the idea they will make good paintings, I have used alot of them for inspiration over the years.
I use Royal Mail 2nd class tracked service for this item which is included in the price, I will email when I post it out.
Your Art work will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap with tissue and shredded raffia paper inside a flat cardboard box, it will have an outer layer of packing plastic and fragile stickers applied.
I don't varnish or add hanging hooks to the back of my canvasses as I feel varnish yellows over time and people prefer to choose their own hanging methods.
However I can do either or both if you wish please message me for this option thanks.
To care for your painting please keep out of direct and prolonged sunlight as this will bleach colours over time.
To dust use a dry cloth.
