Hello and welcome!
Thank you for popping into my shop! I’m a retired Graphic Designer, but thankfully I haven’t retired from being creative. I still love the process of making things, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, and giving new life to all sorts of materials.
You’ll find a colourful and eclectic mix of handmade pieces in my shop, with birds and flowers featuring strongly throughout. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover.
I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry. I’ll package your purchases together and refund the excess postage on the same day your order is dispatched.

Full description
The bag is made from a beautiful dusky pink patterned batik, giving it a soft, exotic feel. I've hand stitched a richly detailed piece of Indian embroidered trim onto the front, featuring intricate embroidery and delicate rows of sequins that catch the light and add a lovely touch of shimmer.
Inside is dried lavender from this season's harvest, filling the bag with its gentle, calming fragrance. Lavender is also traditionally used to help deter those pesky clothes moths, making this little piece as useful as it is decorative.
A pretty ribbon hanging loop, measuring approximately 9cm, makes it easy to hang inside a wardrobe or cupboard, allowing the delicate lavender scent to freshen your clothes.
The bag measures approximately 11cm square - small enough to tuck neatly amongst your clothes, but pretty enough to leave on display.
A lovely little blend of beautiful fabric, intricate embroidery, natural fragrance and handmade detail, perfect as a thoughtful gift or a treat for yourself.
