The reference photo for this was taken by a local fishery. I loved the sculptural look of them and had to paint them.

I love taking everyday food and turning it into something bold, colourful and completely indulgent. The mussels are painted in rich, saturated tones, capturing their beautiful shapes, textures and glossy shells while giving this classic still life a contemporary twist.
Each print is professionally produced from my original artwork and makes a striking addition to a kitchen, dining room, gallery wall or anywhere that could use a splash of colour.
