Summer Seconds Sale - this piece was a prototype for a more lacy bookmark and to achieve this I used a thinner tatting thread. It still holds its shape wonderfully but it feels a little more delicate than I was going for, so I've decided to list it as part of Folksy's Seconds Sale.
This autumnal inspired bookmark was carefully shuttle tatted using high quality cotton thread (a gorgeous mix of burnt red, medium orange, olive green and warm brown). It features over tiny 1,800 stitches and over 200 decorative picots.
Width: slightly under 1 1/2 inches (35 mm).
Length: just over 6 1/4 inches (162 mm).
A handmade stiff card slipcase with care instructions is included.
This would make a great gift for someone special or why not treat yourself.
