"Towards the Mountains, Like Cranes" is an original green landscape painting created with layered colour and expressive brushwork on canvas.
Rather than showing the mountains literally, the painting uses shifting bands of colour to suggest distant land, mist, water and open space.
I created this artwork from my love of green, nature and quiet open spaces. The title reflects the idea of moving forward with purpose and grace, like cranes travelling towards distant mountains.
