The inspiration for this textile brooch was colour and texture . I had a small piece of vintage felt which had the most perfect teal colour and I felt it would look beautiful made up as an brooch to wear against a coat or maybe fixed to a fabric bag. Perfect for any season as teal, orange and brown are colours that can be used all the year round.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This is such a pretty versatile textile brooch handcrafted using six layers of different fabrics. The edges have been left unfinished giving a frayed effect to add texture and interest.
The size is approximately 4 inches wide (10.5cm).
The fabrics are a mix of vintage and new felts, wool and cotton weave with an abstract design on the top layer. The back of the brooch has a little metal silver coloured pin.
Perfect for a gift the brooch is an original design and could be used for example on a coat, jacket or even pinned to a fabric bag.
With a mix of machine and hand sewing the layers are made up in the main colours of teal, orange, brown and beige.
