Full description
A used terracotta plant pot with a hole that has been given a new lease of life.
Handpainted with a beautiful ornamental bird in shimmering blues and greens, and all the way around the pot are various flowers and leaves in contrasting colours shining out from a black background.
Measuring 4inches tall, 4.5 inches wide at the top and 2.5 inches wide at the bottom of the pot.
I used black daler rowney acrylic, monte marte metallic acrylic paint and a black and white marker pen to create this work.
Several coats of outdoor acrylic clear gloss varnish has been applied.
This plant pot has already been used and will show signs of this at the bottom, however was thoroughly cleaned on the area painted.
I have left the very bottom of the inside and outside if the pot bare to let the pot breathe.
I use Royal Mail 2nd class service for this item which is included in the price I will email when I post it out.

Your plant pot will be securely packaged in bubble wrap nestled in shredded raffia paper inside a cardboard box.
There will be a outer layer of packing plastic and fragile stickers applied.
I was inspired to create this piece after painting similar ornamental birds and flowers on keepsake boxes and thought they would work well and give new life to used terracotta plant pots.
