I have a vast collection of papers and card, so I wanted to create blank journals and notebooks containing a variety of these papers rather than a standard book with each page exactly the same. I hope that people will love using these books for that very reason!

The Bash Street Kids - a fun and nostalgic handmade junk journal created from a vintage 1998 Bash Street Kids annual from The Beano.
Filled with an eclectic mix of papers in a variety of colours, textures and weights (including some card-weight pages), this blank journal is perfect for junk journaling, collage, sketching, writing or creative projects. Inside you'll find a mixture of:
- Plain pages
- Ruled pages
- Dot grid pages
- Grid pages
- Vintage ledger paper
- Fold-out pages
Interspersed throughout the journal are genuine comic pages from the original annual, trimmed to approximately 150 x 150 mm, featuring all your favourite Bash Street Kids characters.
The pages are neatly bound with a 16 mm blue wire binding between sturdy hard covers. Some papers are vintage, while others are new, creating plenty of interest and texture throughout.
The journal also includes:
- Several envelope tuck spots for keepsakes and ephemera
- A coordinating bookmark made from the original book cover
This journal is ideal for junk journaling, memory keeping, collage, mixed media, note taking or as a unique gift for any Beano fan.

Internal pages: 15 x 15 cm (covers are slightly larger)
Approximately 55 sheets (around 110 writing pages, including the comic pages).
The covers have been gently cleaned before being made into this journal. As this is an upcycled vintage book, minor signs of age and wear add to its unique character.
