Full description
This is an original paper and fabric collage on a cradled wood panel. It measures 12cms by 12cms and is 1.5cms deep. Featuring genuine vintage ephemera, hand written music and a charming vintage photograph transferred onto fabric of a group of blurry people c1920 (I make the transfers myself). I have finished the collage with a beeswax, two vintage linen buttons and painted the wooden sides white.
I love the smooth matte surface beeswax brings and its unpredictability, making some areas translucent, so the writing or pattern underneath can be seen through the layers.
This one of a kind collage is ready to hang on a simple pin (included). Please note that beeswax collages should avoid being hung in direct heat.
