Full description
Deep within an enchanted meadow, beneath the branches of a magical purple tree, two little white hares come out to play...
Whispers Beneath the Purple Tree is an original painting inspired by the beauty, playfulness and gentle magic of the natural world.
Two graceful white hares leap joyfully through a meadow overflowing with colourful flowers, beneath the sweeping branches of a magnificent purple tree. The scene is filled with blues, violets, turquoise, pinks and soft touches of white, creating a dreamy woodland world full of movement and colour.
Look closely and you'll discover little details throughout the meadow - delicate flowers, leaves, tiny plants and the two playful hares weaving their way through the blooms. I wanted the painting to feel like a glimpse into a secret magical garden, somewhere hidden away where wildlife and flowers exist in perfect harmony.
The branches of the purple tree are touched with delicate glitter, adding a subtle shimmer which catches the light beautifully and gives the painting an almost fairy-tale quality. As the light changes, these tiny sparkling details come alive.
Created by hand using acrylic and oil paints, the artwork has been carefully built up with layers of rich colour and intricate detail. The combination of expressive brushwork, botanical details and sparkling accents creates a unique original painting with plenty to discover.
The canvas edges are painted for a finished contemporary appearance, and the artwork is ready to be framed if you wish to add a frame of your choice.
