Full description
A handmade nautical themed gift box to celebrate the arrival of a new baby boy, carefully constructed in the shape of a sailboat. Ideal for holding small gifts, treats, money, or sentimental treasures, it is perfect for baby showers, as a newborn gift, a christening favour box or even a table centrepiece, a unique keepsake that can be proudly displayed after the event!
The hull is constructed from quality cardstock in light blue colour, layered with striped paper. On either side of the hull, there are two lifebuoys and an anchor, all connected with a strip of natural twine. The decking and the inside of the hull, are layered with wood patterned paper. The sails are made from dark blue cardstock, layered with star patterned paper on one half, and blue & white glitter card on the other. They are embellished with glittery clouds, a seagull at the bottom and an "It's A Boy" badge. A glittery starfish decorates the back side of the sails instead of the badge. On the top, a little blue striped flag adds the finishing touch of the boat.
The deck & sail mast work as the lid of the box, that easily slots into the hull.
The box is 19cm tall from the bottom of the hull to the top of the flag and 12.8cm wide. Please see pictures for more detailed measurements.
Each box is individually made by hand, ensuring your item is truly unique.
