Full description
I have made several paintings of seagulls on reclaimed timber. Each painting is unique, guided by the grain, knots and imperfections in the interesting surface of the wood.
The paintings are built up in many layers, where the wood absorbs the paint differently, or brings out hidden patterns. They are finished with an acrylic varnish.
These small paintings are freestanding, so they are easy to display.
This painting measures approximately 9.5 x 14.5 x 1.5 cm
