I have a friend who is a history teacher and ardent womens rights advocator, so I made her a set of 'inspirational women from history' dolls. She loved them, almost as much as I loved making them... hence this collection was born!

Part of the 'Inspirational women who have changed the course of history' range. Possibly one of the most iconic women from history and the most famous Queen of all time - Cleopatra.
Cleopatra VII (69-30 BCE), the last active ruler of ancient Egypt, was a brilliant and charismatic queen renowned for her political skill, intelligence, and alliances with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. Her dramatic life and enduring legacy have made her one of history's most fascinating and iconic women.
This small wooden peg doll is hand-painted and decorated with a polymer clay cobra head dress. She measures approximately 6.5cm tall and is free standing. Other figures in this 'inspirational women' collection include Mary Anning, Frida Kahlo, Emmeline Pankhurst, Rosa Parks and Jane Goodall - to name but a few!
