Grey Calico Cat, dotpebblesknits Design

This is my first Calico in a while. I will be making a black and ginger later in the year but this is the less common grey also known as a Dilute Calico. She measures 12" (30cm) in a reclining position and 12" when standing upright. She is knitted in alpaca yarn and mixed with various different shades of mohair to create the famous tri colour of the Calico's To give her some support I have included some weight in her tail. Although this Calico is designed to sit in an upright position she is also looks just a cute when she is reclining ready to pounce. She wears a grey blue scarf which can be tied different ways and I have extended her wardrobe with a warm blue sweater for cold days. My Calico is based on a design by Claire Garland of dotpebblesknits a designer who specialises in creating realistic animals. This is not a toy and intended for adults only or for display. The yarn used is not suitable for babies or children under 14 and contains small parts.
