Watching and Waiting - limited edition, hand printed linocut of gannets.
I enjoy incorporating texture and colour variation into my prints using the reduction technique, where the lino is cut away as the print progresses.
Hand printing each one using a glass baren enables me to achieve this, with slight variations making each print truly unique.
Limited edition of 7. This listing is for number 3 in the edition.
Printed on 160 gsm acid-free paper with Schminke water based printing inks.
Signed and titled in pencil.
Mounted in an off white mount with biodegradable/recyclable sleeve and board backing so ideal as a gift for anyone who loves birds, the coast and nature.
Print size: 15x15 cm plus border.
Mount size: approx. 25.5x25.5 cm (10x10")
