Hi, a warm welcome to the Dragon Art Glass shop on Folksy. I'm Andrea, a full time glass addict (oops, artist!) living and working in the valleys of South Wales. I've had a little shop here on Folksy since about 2016, but can also often be found at local craft markets and in my studio in Senghenydd.
I always aim to send out orders as quickly as possible, (often within a day), but please be aware that I post only via Royal Mail.
To make things easier for you, I can gladly gift wrap any presents, add a hand-written note and send them directly to the recipient at no extra charge – just leave me a note and details when you checkout.

I love the colours on this sushi dish, a beautiful combination of a sunflower yellow, and a canary yellow and wispy white glasses. However when I was cutting it (out of the last of my yellow glass on the day), one of the strips cracked. No problem I thought - its going to fuse together anyway, push it together and fuse it...forgetting that there is also a chance of you still seeing the line where the crack was as a little gap between the two pieces. Imagine how annoyed I was when the kiln process had finished, and I could still see the two pieces of yellow on the right hand side of the photo.
So, an Ideal candidate for the Folksy Summer Seconds Sale!
Annoyingly there is absolutely nothing wrong with the dish, but a cosmetic flaw - though at first glance it looks cracked.
It has been fully fused,correctly annealed, and is food safe so you'll get a super sushi serving dish at a reduced price!
A few of the photographs should show you a closer view of the flaw.
The overall size if this plate is 12.5 cm x 22 cm (4 3/4 in x 8 1/2in), and the depth about 1 cm.
It is too deep to be sent as large letter post, so will need to be sent as a small parcel, so will go 48 hour tracked delivery.
