Full description
Special tin, very creative and unique, a one-off designed theme, vintage wine bottle labels and prints from fine art auction catalogue. Would be great for your pens, pencils, paintbrushes, knitting needles or just decoration. Would look good on your office desk or anywhere in the home. Would also make a different unusual gift or something very nice for you !
Upcycled and eco-friendly.
How it was made: The tin held a food powder so already had a silver glaze inside and out, there are no ridge bands on the sides.
Carefully painted with Gesso primer and then chalk paint on the outside to give a secure base for the paper, decoupaged using non-toxic glue.
Gold acrylic paint hand finished on rims. Outside of tin sealed and finished with two coats of decorators satin varnish.
Props shown in pot not included.
Care: wipe with a damp soft cloth, do not immerse in water.
Please note: decoupaged items are never perfectly smooth, they are not a mass machine produced item, you are buying a unique one-off art made and designed created item. Great care is taken to smooth out any wrinkles but there will always be some. Perfectly made with imperfections.
