Full description
I make these bee panels in my Liverpool studio using traditional copper foil techniques. I've used vibrant yellow glass for the body paired with textured white glass for the wings and framed with a striking blue border, which creates a brilliant contrast when the light catches it in a window or conservatory.
I cut, foil, and solder every piece myself. There's no plastic or printing involved-this is genuine glass that won't fade over time. It measures approximately 26cm x 18cm and comes with a secure hanging wire already attached, so you can display it straight away.
Because the glass has its own natural swirls and textures, each piece is slightly different. The panel you receive will have its own unique character, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. These make fantastic gifts for nature lovers, gardeners, or anyone looking to add a splash of colour to their home.
I've been working as a stained glass artist for over 10 years, so I have plenty of experience with packing and shipping glass safely.
