Full description
Handcrafted in my Liverpool studio using traditional copper foil techniques. This panel captures the feel of a dragonfly in flight, with vibrant cathedral glass paired with textured Purple Baroque glass for the wings. The ripple in the Baroque glass is designed to catch the light differently as the day goes on, giving the piece a real sense of movement even when the sun isn't shining directly on it.
I cut, foil, and solder every piece myself. There's no plastic or acrylic involved-this is genuine glass that won't fade over time. When your panel arrives, it will have a hanging wire already attached, so you can put it straight up in a window, conservatory, or against a wall.
Size:
Approximately 26cm x 18cm
Because I work with textured glass, the swirls and patterns are slightly different in every piece, meaning the one you receive will be unique to you. If you are buying this as a gift for a gardener or someone who loves colour in their home, I'm happy to include a handwritten note if you're sending it directly to them.
I've been working as a stained glass artist for over 10 years, so I have plenty of experience with packing and shipping glass safely. I make sure every order is wrapped securely so it arrives in perfect condition, no matter where it's heading.
