Full description
Folk style flower design on red hearts with silver wire loops and ear wires. A bit of a statement pair of earrings that will definitely get noticed. The hearts are from a folk patterned biscuit tins, I have then used reclaimed silver wire to create the loops that are attached to silver ear wires. At this time I am only able to make one pair of these earrings. They measure approximately 5.5 cm in length and 3cm at the widest point.
All the tins I use have had a previous life and may show minor signs of this, though I only use tins that are in good condition. All my tin jewellery is hand cut using a jewellery saw enabling me to create unique shapes or follow designs on the tins, these are not stamped out shapes. The edges are filed before lacquer is applied to both sides of the tin to protect the design and metal. All my earring wires are sterling silver.
I do not recommend extended wear in water, clean with a soft cloth if needed.
