This green and yellow male budgie is full of character with his bowler hat and ornate brass key that hangs from a chain around his neck.
He sits amongst shiny copper pipes and cogs and stands out brightly from the dark background.
A charming little piece of art for your home.
Would make a thoughtful gift for any budgie fans.
Painted onto thick painting paper using a mix of normal and metallic acrylic paints, and presented in a black cardboard mount ready for your own choice of picture frame.
Measuring 7inches high and 5inches wide with the mount.
Without the mount measures 6inches high 4 inches wide.
I was inspired to paint this piece after being invited to trade at a steampunk themed event. I have kept pet birds for over 30 years, with me and family still doing so, this wee guy was based on a budgie we used to have when I was a teenager.
Your artwork will arrive nicely presented in a small thin carboard box wrapped with an outer layer of packing plastic to keep things waterproof.
I use Royal Mail 2nd class service which is included in the price of this item. I will email when I post it out.
