I have a lifelong fascination for Native Americans and First Nation peoples. I’ve also had the pleasure and honour of seeing first-hand the incredible beadwork and weavings produced with shells, glass, quills and stones at Museums in the US. I do not hope to recreate those incredible works, nor would I want to, but the bright colours, stitching techniques and workmanship continue to inspire me.
