Full description
Inspired from my 3 month artist in residence cycle tour of Iceland with my son in 2022. The painting is large at 76 x 152 cm. Hveravallir is a fascinating place - an active geothermal area with hot gasses venting all over the place, hot springs and bubbling mud pools. It is otherworldly and this painting is the first in a series about this extraordinary place. The painting ships in a bespoke crate made by the artist and includes all necassary wall fixings and a certificate of authencity, also known as the provenance.
