Pieces over the legal weight requirement are sent to an official UK Assay Office for full hallmarking.
Pieces below the statutory weight are exempt from compulsory hallmarking. Every piece of jewellery I create is crafted from the exact same premium, ethically sourced recycled sterling silver, regardless of whether it meets the mandatory weight limit for a physical stamp. When possible and I recycle undamaged packaging to reduce waste and costs.

Earrings - Half Pence 1976 - 50th Birthday, Sterling Silver Ear Wires
These earrings are handmade from a genuine 1976 circulated coin. It is the perfect keepsake to celebrate a 50th birthday!
I carefully clean the coins using several steps to remove 50 years of grime. Next, I dome it into a gentle curve and secure it to quality sterling silver ear wires.

Cleaned, domed, and polished. (Note: Because these are vintage coins, expect tiny signs of age, this is their history and beauty).
