Hi, my name is Jason. My day job is working on music tours, then covid hit and the world came to a stop. With lots of spare time I started to play with a 3D Printer. All my roles over the years have been how to create with new technologies. 3D Printing is no exception. I kept breaking my sunglasses with those rubbish clam shell cases. So, I designed something that not only protects, but also looks unique, curious, turns heads, and followed by “What on earth is that?” kind of comments. It not only works a treat, but makes for a great present for friends, who then unwittingly become testers and offer improvements. Welcome the Fractured Reality Sunglasses case.

What is so revolutionary about the Fractured Reality Sunglasses Case? They are tough, really tough. Dual-Layer Protection, a solid exterior paired with a rubber interior ensures your glasses perfectly cushioned. Designed to turn heads. We never sell our designs, so we can ensure they are 3D printed to the absolute highest quality.
Born from the harsh realities of music tours. So called 'hard shell' or 'clam shell' cases just don't cut it, sit on those cases once and your sunglasses look like a pancake, I say this from experience. So instead of moaning about it, I did something about it.
I designed this unique screw top case so I could get a through a tour without buying new sunglasses. I'm now two years in, not two months, of not smashing my sunglasses! I've also enlisted friends to test these at festivals. The result is their sunglasses come back in one piece, even if my friends do not.
These cases are also great around the beach. They seal with the screw top design to keep the sand and water out. They even float!
There are two sizes. Medium (5cm diameter) is ideal for small to regular size glasses, and Large (6cm diameter) for sunglasses. Unsure which size? Cut a 5cm hole in a piece of paper and see if your glasses slide through it. We are also happy for returns.
Pricing. This is a new shop so we are, being honest, desperate for sales and reviews. Each case takes 36hrs and 2500 layers to 'print'. For around £10 this isn't viable, so we need to double this price at some point. In the meantime, to quote a Guy Ritchie movie "It's a deal, it's a steal, it's the sale of the century!" :-)
