Full description
Inspired by the book Flowers For Algenon by Daniel Keyes, this hand embroidery features the white mouse Algenon surrounded by blue forget me not flowers.
The embroidery measures 5 inches in diameter and sits inside a wooden embroidery hoop. The hoop has been backed with a green felt, keeping the back neat for display. The design will come attached to the embroidery hoop pictured.
The fabric used is a white/off white cotton, with the embroidery threads also being cotton. The design was hand designed by me before being embroidered.
Flowers For Algenon is one of my favourite books and I wanted to bring to life the emotions I felt after finishing it.
