Every artwork holds a specific memory. Created in June 2026, Glorieta Garden is a handmade botanical piece made with real pressed flowers and delicate gold leaf.
The bright pink bougainvillea petals were collected during a trip to Spain in 2023. Now living in England, I wanted to bring a gentle structure to their wild beauty. I arranged the petals inside clean, straight lines inspired by the British gardens around me today. The name Glorieta refers to those secret Spanish garden pavilions where architecture and nature meet perfectly.
This piece features a careful balance of bougainvillea, hibiscus, gerbera, and delphinium petals, framed in a geometric grid of gold leaf.
Artwork size: 16 x 25 cm
Frame size: 32 x 42 cm
Materials
Real pressed flowers: Bougainvillea, Hibiscus, Gerbera and Delphinium,
Gold leaf and wood
Protective UV varnish on the petals
Premium anti-reflective UV glass (museum quality)
Care and Display
The flowers are treated with a specialized UV varnish and protected by UV glass to help preserve them. Because these are real botanical elements, their colors will naturally and gently evolve over time. This soft change is a natural part of owning organic art. To help preserve the original shades as long as possible, please display the artwork away from direct sunlight and rooms with high humidity.
