British & European Butterfly Study
There is a quiet, scientific beauty to the butterflies found in our own gardens and meadows. In this piece, I wanted to capture that delicate detail using a blend of watercolour and pen, labeling each one by hand to echo the style of a traditional field naturalist's sketchbook.
I have reproduced this painting as a fine art print to ensure the fine lines and soft washes of the original work are preserved beautifully. Each print comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
