Full description

This listing is for 2 x heavu gauge plastic bag for soaking willow ready for weaving.

6 foot long (1.8m)

8" (20cm) wide

Sealed (twice) at one end for ease of filling.

You will receive 2 bags in your order.

These bags are a convenient way to soak willow. Experience (and a few damp floors) allow me to offer some top tips...

TOP TIPS:

1. Sticks love to poke things and make holes - put an old sock on the thick end of the willow to protect the bag.

2. Put the willow in the bag, thick end first, before filling with water.

3. The seals are good but not invincible - lie the bags down in the bath, stand them in the shower or lie them down outside. Prop the open end up against a wall or the end of the bath.

Please note: If you do get a hole in your bag, gaffer tape can help to block it. (See the black tape in the photos.)

Happy weaving
