You Can Have this nice thing!
A unique softly covered B5 notebook, with FREE PERSONALISATION because I have a new embroidery machine and I want to play with it! Use this for your ambitious plans, your exciting projects, your daily journaling, a place to start, somewhere to plan, write, explore and create.
THE FABRIC: Ex Curtain and Upholstery Fabric Samples
I absolutely love shopping at Scrap in Farsely, near Leeds. They usually have some curtain and upholstery sample books which would otherwise be on their way to landfill and it's a great pleasure to work with them to create designs for my notebooks. These are - of course - one of a kind as I can't get this fabric ever again.
The spine and interior flaps are in upcycled velvet upholstery samples which adds intense softness, warmth and cohesion to the gorgeous fern designs.
THE BOOK: Muji Planted Tree Notebooks with 6mm line spacing
Muji says "Our Planted Tree Paper Notebooks are made from trees grown specifically cultivated for paper production, ensuring responsible forest management and environmental protection. Each B5 notebook contains 36 lined pages of high‐quality wood pulp paper, providing a smooth writing experience without ink bleed‐through."
I find A4 notebooks to be too big and A5 too small. B5 is just perfect.
THE BATTING: Viseline H640 on the outside and Decovil Light on the inside flaps.
I tried so many different thicknesses and materials for the batting and interfacing but decided on these as providing the best combination of squishiness, structure and ultimately the most important thing: to bring tactile joy to this forever reusable cover.
CUSTOM PROJECTS: Yes absolutely! I'd be proud to make a cover to custom fit your favourite book, journal, planner or notebook. Message me your ideas and we can start designing!
