Full description
A handmade linocut print inspired by the golden age of science fiction, Saturday morning serials and the bold optimism of mid-century futurism.
Unlike some of my more graphic and geometric lino cuts, Raygun embraces a looser, more freehand approach. The carved lines and slightly imperfect contours give the piece a vintage character, echoing the hand-drawn illustrations and pulp magazine covers that inspired it.
Printed by hand in black relief ink, this retro-futurist raygun combines classic sci-fi nostalgia with the tactile qualities of traditional printmaking. It's a playful tribute to a future imagined through the eyes of the 1950s.
Each print is individually inked and hand burnished, creating subtle variations that make every edition unique.
Perfect for lovers of science fiction, retro design, vintage illustration and mid-century aesthetics.
This is a limited edition of just 10 prints. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.
Printed using professional Caligo Safe Wash relief ink on archival paper.
Paper size: A4 (210mm x 297mm).
Supplied unframed.
As each print is handmade, slight variations in ink coverage and texture are part of the traditional lino printing process and contribute to the character of every piece.
