This beautiful delicate bracelet is made from 5 oval cut natural rubies from a recently opened mine in Guinea, a country on the Western coast of Africa. If you look closely at the photos you will see inclusions in the stones - this is a sign of a true ruby. Fake rubies will not have these inclusions as they can only occur in something completely natural.

Also included are 4 miniature ruby rondelles - 2mm each in size and faceted cut. How do you facet something so small?!! These rubies are all truly beautiful and if you were to hold an ultraviolet light to all of them you would see their transparency. Again this is another test of a rubies worth.

To make this bracelet more accessible to everyone I have strung it on a slider bracelet which is totally adjustable right down to the smallest wrist. The bracelet itself is 925 sterling silver and includes a diamond cut silver bead as the slider. At the end of the bracelet are two plain silver rounded beads 3mm each. The slider operation glides effortlessly ensuring an easy operation when adjusting - no snagging here!

The rubies themselves measure from 8x6mm to 9x7mm for the main stones and 2mm for the smaller rondelles. There are also 10 each of 2mm sterling silver beads in between the rubies.

Please keep this bracelet in the anti tarnish bag provided to preserve it's beauty as unfortunately silver will go off colour if exposed to the air for too long. Should this happen simply use a silver cloth to bring back the shine.
