Merrybelle - Maiden of the Midsummer Fay
Meet Merrybelle, Maiden of the Midsummer Fay, a beloved fairy from the Garland & Grace collection.
Merrybelle is the joyful spirit of midsummer, welcoming the longest days of the year with sunshine, celebration and togetherness. She is said to wander flower-filled meadows, village fetes, woodland weddings and maypole dances, leaving behind laughter, music and happy memories wherever she goes. The fairy folk believe that when Merrybelle appears, flowers bloom a little brighter, music carries a little further upon the breeze, and the happiest days of summer have truly begun.
Lovingly handmade by artist Jane Clayton, each Merrybelle fairy is individually created, making every piece an original interpretation of this treasured Garland & Grace character. No two are ever exactly alike, with subtle variations in fabrics, embroidery and finishing details adding to the charm of every fairy.
Standing approximately 19 cm (7.5 inches) tall, Merrybelle wears her signature embroidered ivory gown, delicate fairy wings, a floral crown and carries her magical wand.
Your fairy arrives beautifully gift packaged with her own miniature illustrated storybook telling the tale of Merrybelle, Maiden of the Midsummer Fay, together with a dried flower envelope and a special surprise message.
