Full description

A gentle approach to slow stitching for busy minds, restless hands and real life. Based on part of a four-day residential slow stitching retreat which was held at my creative workshops venue before retiring, this 54-page digital workbook explores a more flexible and realistic way to enjoy textile creativity. It is designed for people who stitch in short bursts, move between projects, struggle to sit still for long periods or simply prefer a less structured creative rhythm.

Rather than treating distraction, unfinished projects or interruptions as problems, this workbook explores how stitching can fit naturally around everyday life through small returns, portable projects and gentle routines.

Inside you will explore:

- A flexible approach to slow stitching

- Stitching in short sessions

- Working with restless hands and busy minds

- Portable stitching and on-the-go creativity

- Movement-friendly stitching setups

- Letting go of perfection and neatness

- Returning to unfinished work without guilt

- Comfort stitching and familiar creative rituals

- Reflection prompts and practical ideas

- Developing a stitching practice that works for you

This workbook focuses on rhythm, repetition, adaptability and creative enjoyment rather than technical embroidery skills. It assumes basic familiarity with simple hand stitching and encourages a kinder, more realistic relationship with creativity.

Suitable for:

- Slow stitchers

- Textile journal makers

- Mindful makers

- Busy creatives

- Workshop leaders

Format:

- 54-page PDF workbook

- Digital download

- Suitable for all experience levels

- Please note that this is a digital product - no physical item will be sent

Please note: This workbook is for personal use and inspiration. Digital files may not be shared, redistributed or resold.
