Full description
Handmade Stoneware Bonsai Pot approx. 28 cm
This bonsai pot is hand-built in stoneware and designed specifically with bonsai in mind quiet, grounded, and made to support a tree over many years.
The form is a low, oval vessel, around 28 cm in length, with softly rounded edges that echo natural rock and earth. The glaze moves gently from warm, earthy clay tones into muted blues, suggesting a distant horizon where land meets sky. It s a calm, understated piece that lets your tree remain the focus while still bringing its own quiet character.
This pot is:
Stoneware, high-fired for strength and durability
Approx. 28 cm long, 17cm wide and 8cm tall (internal depth is approx. 6cm)
Designed with drainage holes and wiring holes for secure styling
Handmade in West Sussex, UK by Flansham Ceramics
One of a kind the glaze and texture on this piece will not repeat in exactly the same way again
The surface carries subtle, organic marks and variations from the making and firing process. These are part of the piece's character and are intentionally embraced as signs of a handmade object rather than a factory product.
Suitability
Ideal for:
Shohin or small to medium bonsai trees (depending on species and style)
Trees that suit a calm, landscape-inspired pot pines, junipers, small deciduous trees, or accent plantings
Collectors who prefer understated, nature-inspired ceramics over high gloss, highly decorative pots
Please note that colours may vary slightly from screen to screen,
