Full description
Rooted in the quiet beauty of the natural world, this one-of-a-kind deep stoneware plate draws inspiration by the kiku (chrysanthemum) aesthetic a symbol of renewal and mindful living. Carefully slab built and hand carved, the radiating lines evoke the delicate yet resilient petals of the chrysanthemum, bringing a sense of harmony and movement to the piece.
The outer surface is left as bare, tactile ceramic, celebrating the raw, earthy qualities of the clay and inviting touch.
The interior is finished with a food-safe glaze and fired above 1200 C, ensuring both visual elegance and everyday durability. This plate is designed for functional use perfect for serving salads, pasta, or as a striking centrepiece for your table.
The plate is approximately 21cm in diameter and 4.5cm in height.
Inspired by kiku (chrysanthemum) motifs
Slab built and hand carved for a truly individual character

One-off, artist-made piece
Let this plate become part of your daily rituals a celebration of craftsmanship, nature, and the beauty of mindful living.
Care Card
To care for your plate:
Washing: Hand wash gently with mild detergent. Avoid abrasive pads to preserve the carved details and glaze.
Microwave & Oven: Suitable for occasional microwave use and gentle oven warming. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent thermal shock.
Dishwasher: While stoneware can withstand dishwashers, it is always better to hand wash handmade ceramics.
