Full description

A handmade shohin bonsai pot thrown in stoneware clay and finished with a layered blue-grey glaze over warm iron tones.

The carved horizontal banding creates subtle movement around the form while the breaking glaze develops soft variations of blue, ash grey, cream and deep brown depending on lighting and firing atmosphere.

Designed for shohin bonsai, small accent plantings and miniature succulent compositions.

Suitable for:

Shohin juniper

Dwarf elm

Cotoneaster

Haworthia

Lithops groupings

Each pot is individually handmade and glaze results will always remain unique.

Features:

Stoneware clay

Drainage holes

Handmade feet

Glossy satin atmospheric glaze finish

Signed base

A quiet, compact form intended to complement rather than overpower the tree or planting.

Designed by Martyn Eaves
