I made this little black cat from a piece of maple in my East Sussex workshop.
Sitting proudly on a rooftop beside a smoking chimney, this curious cat looks like it's found the perfect spot to watch the world go by. A simple folk art piece with plenty of character.
Each one is cut by hand on the scroll saw, sanded smooth, painted by hand and finished with a clear wax to protect the wood while letting its natural grain show through.
Perfect for a shelf, desk, windowsill or as a gift for someone who loves cats and handmade things.
