Full description
I made this little woodland scene from a single piece of maple in my East Sussex workshop.
A fox sits quietly beneath a rabbit balancing a crescent moon above. I wanted it to feel simple and peaceful, almost like something from a storybook.
The piece is cut by hand, sanded smooth and painted by hand before being finished with a clear wax to protect the wood and bring out the grain.
It stands on its own and looks lovely on a shelf, windowsill or amongst other handmade objects.
