Full description
A little robin I made from wood in my workshop in East Sussex.
Cut by hand, sanded smooth, painted in warm red and brown tones and finished with a protective wax. I like keeping these birds simple, focusing on shape, colour and character rather than lots of detail.
This robin is freestanding and looks lovely on a shelf, windowsill, desk or tucked amongst other ornaments. It works well on its own or as part of a collection of my handmade birds.
Each one is individually made and painted by hand, making every piece slightly unique.
